You ain't nothin' but a hound dog
Cryin' all the time
You ain't nothin' but a hound dog
Cryin' all the time

C'mon Bueford, cheer up, we're hoping that one of our listeners will come and get you real soon.

The SPCA of Hancock County has a big, beautiful hound/catahoula mix who desperately wants to get out of his kennel!

Bueford is 1 year old and has big floppy ears, one blue eye, and a characteristic hound voice. He is very upset here at the shelter, where he feels confined and abandoned.

Bueford is seeking either an adopter OR a foster home. This handsome fellow can’t show his true personality here at the shelter, and can’t relax and de-stress either. Even a temporary foster to give him a break from the kennel would help.  Could you do this?

Bueford has a prey drive, so he’s seeking a home with no cats. Children 10+ and other dogs are a possibility for him. Bueford is also HOUSETRAINED already! Please lend us a paw for this special dog who cries all day for someone to come take him home!

The SPCA of Hancock County is a no-kill facility, and currently has many cats and dogs available for adoption.  It’s located at 141 Bar Harbor Road in Trenton.  It’s open Wednesdays, Thursdays and Sundays between 11 AM – 5 PM.  Fridays and Saturdays between 11 AM – 6 PM.  Closed Monday and Tuesday.

Call them at call at 667-8088! Email them at info@spcahancockcounty.org.  Follow them on Facebook and check out the website too!

Yes, the SPCA of Hancock County now has a blog! It's called the 4-Paw Post, and it's located on their website under News and Info. They post on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. So, if people are looking for more information about the Pet of the Week or what's going on, check it out!
