For various reasons, we've all wanted to own our own town.

The biggest reason of all is that we could kick out whomever we didn't want in there. Granted there are probably legal ramifications to that sort of thing, but we're talking about daydreams. On the other hand, if you were in the event/wedding planning business, owning a small little village might just be the ticket.

The whole thing is listed for $5.5 million. For all the features this spot has to offer, that doesn't seem like an unreasonable asking price.

That's what's going on in Pittston, just outside of the Gardiner area, right now. There's pretty much what could be described as a small little town for sale. It's spread out over 40 acres and has 21 buildings of all shapes and sizes, right on site. Houses, a chapel, carriage house, 8-car garage... All it's missing is a new owner.

A clever entrepreneur could turn this spot into a goldmine.

What's perfect about this spot from a business perspective, is that it's right in the middle of the state. It's not too far north or south. WMTW featured this spot recently, boasting all of the unique business opportunities there are within the village, and it's kind of crazy. I suppose you could even just keep the whole thing for yourself.

Listed by Anna Boucher with Pouilot Real Estate, the whole thing is listed for $5.5 million. For all the features this spot has to offer, that doesn't seem like an unreasonable asking price. If I were a younger, smarter, more entrepreneurial man... this would be a no-brainer. Luckily, someone out there probably is. I'm just a drummer/DJ, haha.
