Do you want fries with that?

Yes, they are bad for you, but oh boy, are they delicious. It’s almost impossible to head into a fast food restaurant and not get an order of French Fries. A company called Spruce decided to figure out America’s favorite ones. They looked at Google Trends search results to determine the list from every state.

They are so many different chains that serve them up, and a bunch that we don’t even have in Maine. I’ve always wanted to try Shake Shack, Sonic, and man do I miss the Popeye's that we used have in Newport. For the most part, most of the fries I get are from local area businesses, but that doesn’t mean I don’t indulge myself at a Burger King every now and then.

So, state by state, here is the list. You probably won’t be surprised by Maine’s choice.
