Date Set For 2020 Moose Permit Lottery Drawing

The date and venue for the 2020 Moose Permit Lottery Drawing has been set.

On June 13, 2020 the names of lucky hunters selected for moose permits will be drawn. The annual Moose Permit Lottery Drawing will be held at Sky Lodge in Jackman. In addition to the drawing, the day will feature events like a traditional woodsmen competition, live music, talks from Big Wood Bucks, and a moose calling competition.

The application period for moose permits runs from early February, to mid-May each year.

Last year the drawing was held at Cabela's in Scarborough. It was the third time the town played host to the event.
