Guinness Is The SPCA Of Hancock County Pet Of The Week
My name is Guinness, and I believe that the beauty of my personality is more important than the way I look on the outside!
When you look at me, you'll see a big brindle dog of undetermined parentage with a snaggle tooth. Some people even think I'm "boring" because I'm four years old, not a puppy. Pfffft! So what? I will know who is the right person for me because they will stop and look deeper for my true personality.
I am the most attentive companion you could ever wish for. I notice everything that you do. My best friends are the people who respect my personal space and give me good things. Especially treats! Mmmmmm! Once I am sure you are trustworthy I will show you all my best tricks. I know a lot of tricks, just wait till you see!
After I show you how clever I am, I'll invite you out for some play time and a nice walk. Those are some of my favorite activities - I hope you enjoy them, too! If so, you'll get to see just how loving I can be with the people who make me feel happy.
I have been having some trouble with my skin being itchy, so I have a particular food that I eat to help with that. The people at the shelter can tell you all about it when you come to meet me.
I don't have any dog friends right now. Mostly I am interested in people! I might be okay with the right dog, but I'm not so sure until I meet them. Cats are okay - if they leave me alone, I'll leave them alone.
If you are looking to settle down with a loyal soulmate, please give the SPCA a call and ask for Guinness.
