Tonight’s mystery artists have released more compilation albums than studio LP.  Can you guess who they are??

I found this odd fact on AXS about the band The Police.  Over their short 4.5 years as a band The Police released 5 studio albums that cranked out a huge number of hits. Since then though The Police released 7 compilation albums begging the question: How is it even possible for a band to release more compilation LPs than actual studio LPs?

According to the site their avid fans just couldn’t let the band go even though they were no longer making original material. With money to be made still the band got creative producing 7 compilation albums and also 10 video albums. Guess that’s how you make a short run produce cash for a lifetime. Well done.
