Tonight’s mystery artists say that consuming cocaine was so necessary to keep up their grueling schedule when they were recording an one of their albums they almost gave credit on the album to their drug dealer.  Any guess who the band is or the album that came in fueled by coke??

This story from Rolling Stone came from Fleetwood Mac about their album ‘Rumours’. Stevie Nicks told Mojo in 2012:

“Coke was less of a pleasure and more of a necessity, helping combat fatigue during the grueling multi-hour sessions – and tortuous emotions.”

So why didn’t the drug dealer get mentioned on the album? According to Mick Fleetwood’s first autobiography that the dealer in question was the victim of gang violence that took his life before the album was released.

Here they are years later and fueled more likely on Red Bull.
