I-95 Drive Home Mystery Artist [VIDEO]

Tonight’s mystery artists have a hit that was derived from a true story of an after party in a bar where a roadie got into a fight and they were kicked out.  Can you think of the song or the band.

Although I am sure many of our favorite bands could have penned that autobiographical description  of a night on tour this one comes from Lynyrd Skynyrd in the song ‘What’s Your Name’. Story tells how lead vocalist Ronnie Van Zant and guitarist Gary Rossington the song  while in Miami The lyrics they say depict a true story of the band drinking at their hotel bar during a tour when one of their roadies got into a fight. The band got kicked out of the bar, but they went into another room and ordered champagne.

The video for the song was released after the plane crash that would change their lives forever.
