I-95 Drive Home Mystery Artist [VIDEO]

Tonight’s mystery artist had a long lull between his band and his solo album.  When asked why he says it because he was I the middle of redoing his house when they offered him the contract and he had to finish it first.  Think you know whose career was in the hands of his builders??

This story comes from The Night Video’s interview with Benjamin Orr about the time between The Cars and his first solo effort ‘The Lace’. According to the interviewer Orr had told him years before the songs were all written and ready to record. Up shot so he says is when he got the solo contract he was rebuilding and couldn’t stand tripping over things in his house.
