Tonight’s mystery artists first show was attended by just one guy so they bought him a coke. Think you know whose humble beginnings this was??

This was a story to a podcast and re-related by the Las Vegas Journal as ZZ Top prepares for their 50^th Anniversary in Vegas.  It was Frank Beard tells how the curtains opened and there was one person who just stood there looking at them.  After a beat they counted off, played a set and then bought him a Coke.  In later years after their success, Billy Gibbons tells how “the Guy” shows up. They never find out his name because all he says to them is “Hey, I’m the guy”

The guys will be playing their 50th anniversary celebration at The Venetian Theatre Jan 30th and Feb 1&2.
