This is the tale from Uproxx of the up and downs and ups again of the band Aerosmith. Back in the 80s the band had been churning out drama and lack luster albums when a guy named Desmond Child stepped in and showed them the light. Fresh from helping Bon Jovi with ‘Slippery When Wet’ he helped them make their songs a bit more “Poppy” if you forgive the term to broaden their audience. Before you complain too much we’re talking songs like ‘Dude Looks Like A Lady, ‘Rag Doll’ and ‘Angel’ He definitely help to secure their comeback and we most likely have him to thank that they are still out there doing their thing.
