Lovable Goofball Alfie Is Our SPCA Pet Of The Week
Do you have a little patience to show a young dog the ropes? If so, then Alfie is your guy!
Young Alfie is very much a sprightly, energetic husky! With the handsome features of a husky mixed with the coloring of a shepherd, Alfie is a striking 1-year-old dog that is very much a puppy at heart still.
He is a clever boy with way too much energy to be a simple house dog and would do much better if he had a job to do, like if he was on a farm or off on adventures. He hasn’t spent much time indoors and is learning to be housebroken still. Whoops.
He seems good with people and other animals, but it’s important to know he has a ton of energy and will need a lot of guidance on how to direct that in a healthy manner. He has a strong, independent streak and will need someone with a kind but firm hand to help him learn his manners and mind them.
But this lovable goofball will fill his home with love and laughter in return, so he is worth every second of it!
Stop in or call to schedule an appointment to meet with Alfie at the SPCA of Hancock County! Call (207) 667-8088, or email at firstname.lastname@example.org. They're open Wednesday through Sunday 11 AM –5 PM, Closed Monday and Tuesday.
The SPCA of Hancock County is a no-kill facility, and currently has many cats and dogs available for adoption. It’s located at 141 Bar Harbor Road in Trenton. Donations are always accepted. They will take your returnable bottles as a donation, so please drop them off right there at the shelter.
