What do You Think is Maine's Favorite Retro Nickelodeon Show?

I grew up in the Nickelodeon hey-day.

I was at the prime age in the 80s to remember all the killer shows... I loved Danger Mouse, You Can't Do That On Television, Double Dare... You name it, I watched all of it. Even in high school, I was around for Ren & Stimpy and Rocko's Modern Life. All the best in my personal opinion. I grew up in the era of slime.

As I got older, I even loved Nick at Nite. That's where I discovered MST3K, and SCTV. So if you think about it, Nickelodeon has pretty deep roots in Maine childhood culture. Sure, well beyond Maine too, but everyone I know was watching all the same shows I was because they were ours. They weren't shows that our parents watched that we just kind of liked. We had our own channel, and it was Nick.

However, would you believe this is our favorite Nicktoon of all time?

According to ShaneCo.com, we Mainers love one particular Nick show above all others. When I originally saw this headline pass by my eyes, I assumed Mainers would love one of the typical ones I mentioned above. But nooooo. This website says we love KaBlam! the most. Like....what?!

Out of all the Nick cartoons you could think of, Maine is the ONLY one that chose KaBlam! My guess is that one Mainer answered their poll. Pretty much every other state said any of the Big 5. I was honestly jealous of New Hampshire, as they chose The Adventures of Pete & Pete. But hey... you can't win them all.

Feel free to set me straight. Maybe KaBlam! really is everyone's favorite, and I had just aged out of the game at that point. I can't say that I've ever even seen an episode. So I certainly won't pass judgement about it's quality. But the favorite in the whole state of Maine? Hmmmmm. Maybe.
