Ruby is a Rottweiler mix who is on the small side for that breed - although she’s still a pretty big girl! Ruby is only 1 year old, but she has already learned to be cautious about the big wide world. She is looking for a home where she is safe and loved just the way she is.

You might notice that one of Ruby’s legs turns to the side. This is an old fracture that went unnoticed at the time, but healed crookedly on its own. Ruby likes to play and walk and even run, because it doesn’t hurt now.  But her gait is clearly affected and a big dog like her may need more vet care as she ages to support her when her leg can’t anymore.

Ruby would like you to be gentle and slow when you meet her, and she also requested that we remind you to feed her treats. You can also see her great personality when she gets the chance to play with other dogs, which she loves to do.
