In a post put up on the City of Bangor, Maine-City Hall Facebook Page, Bangor officials announced the latest in a string of temporary service changes that went into effect Monday.
"All Mt. Hope bus routes will honor the Bangor Mall bus stop *by request only* until further notice."

The Community Connector has made a handful of service changes this past year. At the beginning of the summer, they suspended their Saturday runs due to a shortage of bus drivers. That started in June.
In August, the Connector had to detour around construction going on in the Old Town area.
There were also talks this summer about changing the Community Connector's current system of riders waving down the bus anywhere along the route, to a fixed stop system instead.
If you need more information on the Community Connector Routes or fares, you can call the dispatch center at 207-992-4670 or log on to www.bangormaine.gov/bus.
Meanwhile, folks in Bangor are waiting for the completion of the new Transit Hub at Pickering Square, a space that will without a doubt be used heavily by folks traveling on and driving the Community Connector buses. Construction has been moving right along, and the project has been tentatively slated for completion before the end of the year.
