Registration Now Open For Kenduskeag Stream Canoe Race

You like getting wet, right?

The 53rd Annual Kenduskeag Stream Canoe Race will take place on Saturday, April 20th, and once again this year, hundreds are expected to participate in the thrill of it all!

The Bangor Parks & Recreation's WEBSITE has all the necessary information, registration and waiver forms for you. The big thing at the moment though is that you can save some $ by registering now, like up to $20 off for two person boats!

Online registration ends April 19th.

Once again this year boaters will begin well above the Gauging Station in Kenduskeag and then if they're skilled and lucky enough, finish the over 12 mile run in Downtown Bangor where awards will be passed out in the warming tent at Gomez Park.

The race starts at 8:30 a.m. that Saturday, and participants will get to look forward to free chili & chowder from the Sea Dog and free hot chocolate, coffee and other goodies from the Darling Agency in the warming tent at the finish line!
