Shelby Likes Cheese, Would Like Forever Home Better

This beautiful lady currently resides at the SPCA of Hancock County, where the folks there have learned to keep a good reserve of cheese handy.

“Did you say cheese? I love cheese!” What a smile Shelby gives for the camera when we mention her favorite treat!

That face simply says good girl.

Shelby is an 8-year-old Shepherd who loves long walks outside and - you guessed it - cheese. But as much as she loves those things, when we get her to come out of her shell, there is something special she admitted she’s searching for: a loving furever family.

The SPCA of Hancock County is a no-kill facility, and currently has many cats and dogs available for adoption. It’s located at 141 Bar Harbor Road in Trenton. It’s open Wednesdays through Sundays between 11 AM – 5 PM. Donations are always accepted! They will take your returnable bottles as a donation, so please drop them off!
