Out SPCA of Hancock County Pet of the Week can't wait for you to throw the ball!

Sperry is a dog who recently arrived at the shelter, and the folks there are just starting to get to know her, but so far she’s pretty great!

Sperry might be a boxer/doberman mix, and her short fur is brown. She is a very long dog; long in every direction - her legs are long, her face is long, even her tail is long! And that tail wags and wags. She’s affectionate and loves to play tug. When she wants something Sperry will stomp her feet to get your attention.

Sperry is already housetrained, and she knows several tricks. Because they're still getting to know her, the folks at the SPCA are not sure how she would do with children, cats, or other dogs. What they do see at the shelter is that she’s an active dog and can get over-excited when things get busy or loud. Sperry is 1-2 years old.

Call the shelter at (207) 667-8088 to schedule a meeting, or just drop by!
