Flick Chick here once again in the pursuit of truth, justice and keeping you from spending your hard earned money on movies that suck! Over the weekend Ma and I packed our carry-ons and headed off to the Bangor Mall Cinemas to see the new ‘Non-Stop’.

This movie runs just under two hours and is considered an action, mystery, thriller  and is rated PG-13 for intense sequences of action and violence, some language , sensuality and drug references. This film stars Liam Neeson, Julianne Moore, Scoot McNairy, Michelle Dockery, Corey Stoll
Summary:

An Air Marshal who appears to be suffering emotional fatigue and alcohol abuse is forced into action during a transatlantic flight after receiving a series of text messages that put his fellow passengers at risk unless the airline transfers $150 million into an off-shore account. The plot thickens when TSA discovers that the account the money would be wired to is in the Marshall’s name.

Review:

To me Non-Stop is reminiscent of the old Airport movies. People blindly going about their business and then all hell breaks loose in an inescapable location.  The story is written very craftily and Liam Neeson does an excellent job keeping you in suspense. My final note is that after reviewing for so many years I am very hard to surprise at the end and this movie did just that which made me walk out saying “that was awesome” On a  scale of 1-10 I am giving the new ‘Non-Stop’ an 10.

Show me everything playing right now at the Bangor Mall Cinemas
