Flick Chick here once again in the pursuit of truth, justice and keeping you from spending your hard earned money on movies that don’t make the grade! Over the weekend grabbed my own theory of the universe and headed to the Bangor Mall Cinemas to see 'The Theory of Everything'

This movie runs just over 2 hours is a biography, drama, romance and is rated P: PG-13 for some thematic elements and suggestive material . The film stars Eddie Redmayne, Felicity Jones, David Thewlis, Emily Watson, Harry Lloyd

Summary:

This is the amazing story of Steven Hawking's life from the inception of his battle with Lou Gehrig's disease. The film covers his theories, marriage, degrees and rise into fame plus the amazing way he and his incredible wife overcome the obstacles of this tragic disease one after the other .  A miraculous true story of a man who tends not to believe in miracles at all.

Review:

Steven Hawking 's life does not need anything added to make it remarkable.  I also think because the actors are more well known in England their unfamiliarity makes it even more real for the American viewer. The screenplay was based on a book by his wife and I guarantee you'll sit there the entire amazed at their relentless attitude towards his life and career and you'll be challenged to suck it up a little more when life hands you a hard day. Last note, the physical transformation into Hawkings done by actor Eddie Redmayne is Oscar worthy. On a scale of 1-10,  I’m giving 'The Theory of Everything' a 10.
