Acadia National Park Officials Announce 2018 Free Admission Days
Hey, no need to sneak through the woods to check out the best of what Maine has to offer.
Once again this coming year, the National Park Service will open the gates and not charge admission to one of America's most beautiful treasures, for four days this coming year. Write them on your calendar!
- January 15: Martin Luther King, Jr. Day
- April 21: First Day of National Park Week
- September 22: National Public Lands Day
- November 11: Veterans Day
Usually, a $25 weekly fee is charged per car. A $50 yearly pass is also available, although, the Feds have been talking about increasing that cost significately sometime in the future.
You still have the opportunity to buy a yearly pass for half-price until the end of the year! The $25 yearly pass is available at the Bar Harbor Chamber of Commerce Visitor's Center located at 2 Cottage Street, until December 31st.
