Authorities Looking Into How A Man Died On A Solar Farm Site In Surry
A Maine man working at the site of a Solar Farm in Surry died Thursday and authorities are looking into what may have killed him.

According to Shannon Moss, spokesperson for the Maine Department of Public Safety, OSHA was notified after dispatchers received a call just before noon on Thursday.
"...first responders and the Maine State Police received a 911 call reporting a medical event at a solar farm on Surry Road in Surry. The initial investigation determined that 52-year-old Edwin Kendall Jones of Washington, Maine suffered a medical event while working at the site. The deceased was transported to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in Augusta where an autopsy will be performed to determine the cause and manner of death."
Moss says the investigation is "active and ongoing."
