According to Bangor's Administrative and Communications Manager, David Warren, the City's new, more user-friendly, and attractive website is currently being developed. But for folks who want to report a problem within the City, there's a way to do that through the new "ClickFix" app.

While folks can still use the website to file a service request, when they do so now, they'll be redirected to an easier way of contacting the correct department.

"They will then be directed to the ClickFix platform where they can quickly report a concern, such as a pothole that needs patching, a downed tree, a street light that’s out, or trash that needs to be collected.

Following this change, a mass notification system will be introduced and full implementation of the new website is expected to be completed by October.

Bangor’s current website is more than 10 years old and while it offers a broad amount of information, the site is outdated and difficult to update."

Warren says a company called CivicPlus has been hired to develop the new website. The new app is scheduled to go live this week.
