Hair Removal Clinic Going In Next To New Starbucks In Bangor

Plans to develop a newly constructed 3-tenant build that occupies a double-lot, #685 and #699 of Broadway in Bangor started back in 2022.

Originally, it was thought that there would be an Orange Theory Gym and some sort of Walk-in Care facility to occupy the other two units being built, alongside the new Starbucks Cafe.

Construction on the facility started, but shortly after that, Orange Theory backed out of the plan. Nothing more seemed to come of who or what else might step up to fill in the other spots.

The work on the cafe part of the build finished at the end of spring, and at the beginning of June, the new Starbucks location opened for business, with the other two sections of the new construction still unoccupied.

According to City officials, it was right around the time the cafe opened for business that plans to add a laser hair removal clinic into one of the other units on that site were presented for approval.

"Code Enforcement Director Jeff Wallace says the second tenant at the Broadway location will be a Milan laser hair removal office. The City issued a building permit in June."

They have yet to release an official timeline or opening date.

According to their website, Milan Laser Hair Removal has 380+ locations in over 35 states.

There are already other Milan Laser Hair Removal locations in Biddeford and in South Portland.
