Everyone knows that "gingers" have a little something special about them, and currently, there's a ginger cat at the SPCA of Hancock County that has that little "extra" about her.

Meet Harper, who's only 1 year-old, and she's more than ready for her "furever home!"

Harper's been with the shelter since  late January, and she's had enough of "waiting."  She's an independent lady who would rather watch you from a distance than cuddle up, and loves to sit high on a shelf where she can observe what you're up to.

Harper likes other cats and would enjoy a feline companion or two in her home. It may take her some time to settle in, but we know that Harper will be so much happier when she has a family - even if it takes her a while to realize that she is really safe.

Can you help find Harper a home?
