Here’s The Winner Of Acadia’s Annual Entrance Park Pass Contest

What a cool photo of the Bass Harbor Head Light Station!

The 2020 winner of the annual park pass contest as selected by the National Park Service is Mark Walker of Smyrna, Georgia.  The photo will grace the Acadia National Park annual entrance pass beginning with those sold starting May 1st.

“We are excited to have received over 200 entries from 26 states as well as from Canada,” said Superintendent Kevin Schneider. “We want to thank everyone who shared their amazing images of Acadia National Park.”

Bass Harbor Head Light Station located on the southern most tip of MDI and is currently not part of Acadia National Park, but is due to be transferred to the park by the U.S. Coast Guard this spring.

The fee for the annual Acadia National Park pass is $55, and will be good for one year from date of purchase.
