Just look at that face!  It, along with the rest of Margot currently resides at the SPCA of Hancock County!

Beautiful brown-eyed Margot is looking for a foster home! This snuggly, easy, affectionate dog arrived at the shelter lyme- and heartworm-positive, and she needs a place to stay while she receives treatment.

Margot is looking for a quiet home where she can have low-key attention (she’s a great movie-watching buddy!) and leisurely walks. Her treatment will take several weeks. She promises to be a good houseguest, and she will repay you with all the cuddles and sweetness you can stand.

Margot’s veterinarian is located on MDI and she will need a number of trips back and forth during her treatment, so we need a foster home on or very near the island. Can you help? If so, please give the shelter a call!

Call the shelter at (207) 667-8088 to schedule a meeting, or just drop by!

Don’t forget to vote in the Coloring for the Dogs online photo contest! Voting ends at 9 pm on May 1st. Read more at: www.gogophotocontest.com/spcahancockcountycoloring2019

There's also still time left to enter the SPCA of Hancock County Coloring Book Contest, another great way to have some fun and support the care of the animals at the shelter!
