Planned Power Outage In Downtown Bangor This Week

Heads up! Emera is doing some work in downtown this week.

Crews from Emera Maine will be interrupting electric services in Bangor, late Thursday into Friday this week. According to a press release from Emera, the planned outage is 'scheduled for midnight Thursday, May 25, through 2AM Friday, May 26.'

Affected areas include 1-36 Central Street and 21-34 Hammond Street.

The power interruption will allow crews to safely update electrical equipment at the newly reopened Giacomo's in Downtown Bangor.
