Cherryfield Man Arrested After Trying To Run From Cops Out The Back Door Of Circle K
A man from Cherryfield, who tried to flee from the cops out the back door of a Circle K in Bangor, has been arrested.

Mark Flores, 42, failed to stop at a stop sign on Second Street in downtown Bangor Sunday morning, according to police. Police said they tried to pursue Flores but called the chase off because the man was speeding and the road conditions were unsafe.
But then the tides changed for Flores.
"A few minutes later, officers were called to the accident on Hogan Road, the vehicle was recognized as the one from the pursuit. No one was with the vehicle, and it was reported the only occupant had been taken to a local hospital," Bangor Police Sgt. Jason McAmbley said in a news release.
Having checked all the local hospitals but finding no one that fit Flores's description, the officers then started checking spots nearby, figuring that he was still trying to keep a low profile. When they made it to the Circle K on Broadway, they were told someone matching Flores's description had fled through an exit at the back of the building.
"At the back of the store, behind a dumpster, Officer Willette and Officer Nathaniel Lilley
located Flores and took him into custody."
McAmbley says Flores was taken to the hospital first, so his injuries could be dealt with, and then transported to the Penobscot County Jail.
He will face a number of charges including Driving To Endanger, Eluding and Leaving the Scene of a Crash, among other things.
