
Maine State Police Captured Holden Man Considered ‘Armed & Dangerous’
On Friday, members of the Maine State Police Department arrested a man Holden Police described as armed and possibly dangerous.

The Holden Police Department publicly thanked the Maine State Police after they aided in the arrest of Thorr Ellis, a man they say had been involved in a violent domestic abuse encounter earlier that day.
According to the statement released on social media, Holden PD said that Ellis had tried to escape authorities, but in the end, was apprehended.
"Thorr Elllis fled a residence in Pittston as the MSP was moving in with a search warrant to arrest him. Thorr Ellis fled into the woods and was apprehended a short time later without incident...This investigation is ongoing and additional charges against those who helped Thorr Ellis will be evaluated. We would also like to thank the Public for their assistance in getting this dangerous suspect into custody."

Ellis will face charges of Domestic Violence, Assault, Witness Tampering, Criminal Threatening, and Probation Violation.
He is currently being held at the Penobscot County Jail. Ellis is scheduled to be arraigned on Tuesday.
