What Better Way To Check Out Bangor’s Murals Than To Run Past All Of Them?!

Downtown Bangor has become a hot spot for artistic activity over the past few years. Specifically, we've seen multiple murals pop up within the city's downtown area.

To celebrate all this awesome art, the folks at Bangor Beautiful have come up with a cool way to make sure no one misses a mural.

They're instituting a first-ever "Mural Fun Run.

"Join us as we explore the many beautiful murals of Bangor in a unique way—a party-paced run!"

"We will start off at Chimera Coffee in the heart of downtown, then jog our way to nine murals throughout the area. At each mural, you'll get the chance to hear about its history and meaning and receive a totally rad button that includes an image of the mural! "

The 1st Mural Fun-Run will take place Saturday, May 11.

There's a suggested donation of $20 to participate.

Organizers say all "paces and faces are welcome" for this two-mile run. You can click here to register for the event.
