Three very special cats who have spent a lifetime together are our SPCA of Hancock County pets of the week. They've all had a bath and a haircut, and are ready to be taken home.

Originally from the same house, these geriatric cats are bonded and each has their own special needs, making it hard to find the right home for them, but we would love to see them go to a loving family soon since shelter life stresses them out.

They have all had haircuts because they were so matted, but they’re all long-haired cats.

We'd really like to see Sampson, Baby and Runt have a loving and forever home by Christmas.  We feel that they'd be a whole lot happier lying underneath someone's tree or basking beside a woodstove rather than holed up at the SPCA of Hancock County where there is just far too much going on for them to enjoy.

Please keep these three in your thoughts.  Remember, kindness matters!

As a reminder, the SPCA of Hancock County is still operating by appointment-only for the safety of the animals, as well as visitors and staff. If you are looking to adopt, please check their website where they have an adoption application and the available animals listed. For general inquiries, please call them at 207-667-8088, email info@spcahancockcounty.org, or send them a Facebook message.
