Third Time’s A Charm, As Spark Makes A Return To The SPCA Of Hancock County
Maybe the third time is a charm for Spark, our Pet of the Week, once again.
She has been returned to the SPCA of Hancock County twice, to make a total of three lucky times being trapped there in a cage. Don’t get us wrong, the folks there do their best to make the animals comfortable and stress-free, but a shelter is no place for any animal.
Spark is quite the sassy lady! In fact, that is the reason she was returned the first time. Spark is very playful and energetic, and when she gets overstimulated she'll take a swat at you to let you know it.
Spark would do best as the only cat in her new home, as she does not like cats or dogs. Her favorite toys are small mice, catnip toys, and feathers on a wand. Spark is very good about letting everyone know when she’s had enough, and over time, you will be able to read her body language and give her time to cool down after a thrilling activity.
The novel thing about Spark is that she only has three legs, so she would need to be an indoor-only cat. What she lacks in a leg, she makes up for in extra toes! If you like a spicy cat, who has a different personality, Spark might just be perfect for you.
Please make an appointment to stop by the SPCA of Hancock County to meet her. The shelter is located on Route 3 in Trenton.
