Inseparable Sisters Meena and Meera Have It All And Are Available For Adoption Now At SPCA Of Hancock County
C'mon, you know you;re looking for feline companionship with the entertainment value of a kitten, and the advantage of cat sized packaging? Well here you go!
Sisters Meena and Meera have got it all, and they're waiting to meet you at the SPCA of Hancock County!
They're a pair of two year old cats who are playful as kittens, bold as brass, and cute as two peas in a pod. These two are inseparable. If one finds a great toy, she brings it to the other so they can chase it together. If one finds a nice place to lay in the sun, the other comes and lays next to her.
Meera is mostly black with some white, and Meena is mostly white with some black. You may notice when you look at Meena's eyes that parts of them look milky white. The vet tells us that this white material is her third eyelid, which doesn't retract all the way like it usually would. It doesn't hurt, and doesn't require medication. Meena just looks unique!
The SPCA of Hancock County is a no-kill facility, and currently has many cats and dogs available for adoption. It’s located at 141 Bar Harbor Road in Trenton. It’s open Wednesdays, Thursdays and Sundays between 11 AM – 5 PM. Fridays and Saturdays between 11 AM – 6 PM. Closed Monday and Tuesday.
