Explore the Magic at This Real-Life Fairy Forest in Maine
My family and I love to explore the Maine outdoors. We always anticipate finding things like unique rocks and beautiful flowers to add to our collection, and uncover all the other great wildlife that Maine has to offer.
One thing we did not expect was to take a nature walk and come across a land of fairies. That's right.
It's called the Garcelon Bog Conservation Area, and protects over 107 acres of wetland.
This allows the walk to fill you with a sense of awe and wonder. We stumbled upon so many handmade bird houses, fairy huts, mushrooms, gnomes, and even treasure.
While you are in the fairy bog, no matter what age you are, you allow yourself to forget the cares of the world and simply revel in the magic!
Nothing is better than finding hidden spots to explore with your kiddos.
